Depending on how far gone they are, someone on here recently had theirs coated. Could be a cheaper option?..? |

Having done the job a couple of times (I run a garage ) to do it properly with copper or cunifer it takes about 4 to 6 hours to do properly (lots of trim to remove) and run them right to the joints in the front wheelarch so should be about £300 to £400 at sensible labour rates , bit of a faff though . |

I had to have the rear ones that are part flexi / part solid done for the last MOT - genuine LR ones used and it cost ~£150 including fitting if i remember correctly. 2004 Vogue TD6 - Remapped

I've done quite a few of these and it's not a huge job if you have the pipe flaring kit etc.

I'm just about to do the job on the driveway. The tool is about 30quid. The copper pipe about 30 quid , and I bought a tray of unions for 20quid.

It is worth removing the front inner wheelarch covers on the front left (RHD passenger side) - especially the smaller one against the engine bay (this will probably break on removal ).

Would strongly suggest following Joe90 advice. I did mine back in February as one had split under the tank cover. The short connector pipes in the LH wheel well were nearly shot as well. 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

Has anyone tried buying the genuine LR rear pipes and cutting and flaring the O/S pipe to make fitting across the rear subframe easier? 2014 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography & 2015 3.0SDV6 HSE Lux Discovery 4
