Drivers door handle in the cold.

How many people pulled in the exterior drivers door handle durring the last few days of freezing weather and found it stuck solid ? I know some one who had to revert to the passenger door for entry as this was ok. I used to have this problem with my previous FFRR. Is there a reason why it always seems to be the drivers door ?

its a common problem on the early FFs Dave...water gets trapped in the door lock and then freezes...it happened to mine and i took the lock out and dried it and packed loads of grease in to repel any water...some have been successful with wd40.. ... - .- -.

Mine went this morning. Is it broken? Internal handle still triggers unlock bt nothing happens with the external;-(

Like WD40. But also contains ptfe. Great for squirting into locks and preventing ice up.
