I have an L322, 2007MY 4.4 Petrol (Jaguar Engine) which has now covered 83,000 miles.

Every year up until May 2016 (so about 18 months ago) I've had it serviced every 12 months on the dot with my Land Rover main dealer.

However, my annual milage on this car has how fallen to about 4k per annum - Having it serviced every 12 months is now beginning to seem a bit excessive.

The last service was an oil service 6,500 miles ago, so Inspection 1 is due next. So my question is, what do you suggest?

Perhaps an oil change every 12 months, with the next appropriate service being carried out every 13k miles?

Or

Is it essential that the car is done on an annual basis irrespective of low milage?

Finally, will a main dealer just do an oil service if requested? and if so, should it include oil and air filter changes?

Do what my mother does with her Fiesta. She regularly covered about 3,000 a year. The cycle is basically The proper service one year, oil service the next, year after is the proper service, then the year after another oil change.

The only deviation is Brake Fluid every 2 years (Hydroscopic, so best for safety) Anti-Freeze every 5 (pink stuff has a 5 year life span, yellow 4, and blue 2) and the drivebelt on year rather than mileage (it will still deteriorate even if it's sat still).
