Power fold Mirror Problem

Good morning all. Living in the Cornish sticks and constantly having to pass oncoming traffic in tiny passing places with 'Cornish Hedges' towering on both sides, I tend to fold the door mirrors in quite regularly.
The drivers door mirror has become very lazy and seems to get the signal to move, has a think about it and then makes a token effort as if to say 'Im trying goddamit' and then just sops.

Imagine trying to pries a teenager out of bed in the morning and you get the idea.

Meanwhile, the passenger mirror quite happily folds in and out with much gusto. Anyone any ideas on what the problem may be with the drivers mirror.

Thanks

Andrew

Thanks Stan, I'll have a look at that when I get five minutes. I'm sure it is something fairly straight forward and a good write up like that will be very helpful.
