Correct and its pretty much 100% snowsure and Austrias only purpose built ski resort due to the climate/heavy natural snowfall. |

If you want a white Christmas the only hope is a ski resort and the last 3 we have had rain on the 25th, many people don't ski, Lech has some good flexibility for non Skiers. letters not necessarily in the right order |

You’re never too old to learn Snowing nicely in Andorra already with a reasonable smattering on the roads this morning - bodes well for the start of the season next weekend I’ve never done a non-ski winter holiday, but there must be stuff around - there’s plenty of cheaper accommodation that’s a short drive to the slopes, so something like that sounds ideal. |

OK, so staying in a couple of hotels in France over a few days. Other than the hotels themselves, we have no plans - ideal.

Colmar is very pretty. The Vosges mountains are also there so you will probably have some snow. Strasbourg also worth a trip. On the other side of the Rhine is Frieburg which is quite nice, and of course the black forest - which is where the cookoo clock comes from, not Switzerland.
