L322 vogue Throttle response after getting wet underneath.

Hello everyone.

I have a problem with my 2005 L322 Vogue that initially happened after driving through standing water. Last night I got caught out in the heavy rain and went through a large puddle a bit too quickly. The throttle response was very slow until the revs get up high then it pulled ok.

This morning, after it had dried out, it was running fine. I then went for a drive near the beach and was careful to drive very slowly through large puddles but now the problem is back again.

The first time I thought it was down to me driving too fast into standing water but this morning I was careful not to splash through the puddle.

I think it must be an electrical problem but I am not sure where to look.

Has anyone else suffered from this problem?
