I have a warranty with them. Not had to use it in anger but I will say that the final price came down from £957 online to £450 after some haggling & long silences from me.

Their Favourite excuse for not paying is oh that's wear and tear sir so you are not covered, no matter what part has broken, even parts that are built to last the life time of the car.

I had it at a cost of £645 my gearbox went and they offered 10% due to the mileage and doing it with their approved garage was to cost double of a £1500 guaranteed that are advertised everywhere. My advise is dontget it its a rip off they basically only pay for what has BROKEN and not what has WORN out and then failed !!! PS MERRY XMAS |

If you don't get the answers you want on here then take a look over on RRSport.uk.uk and Dicso3 as warranties have been discussed endlessly over on those forums too. Also contact Kam100 whose first business is an accountant but is a car-broker and insurance/ warranty man too. His details are in the Finance section here and on the other forums 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

'Lifetime Warranty' is one of these phrases that looks good but means nothing. As soon as you try to claim on a broken part through Lifetime Warranty you will be told that the component has failed due to wear & tear and the lifetime of the said component was designed to wear out around the time you make the claim.

Put the money you would pay for a warranty into an account and draw down on it when you need it. When I bought my car, I looked into warranties and most people say they are not worth the paper they are written on. Paul

Not used warranty Direct before, but have warrantWise policy on the wife's XC90 and its been great. They've forked out for two new (self-levelling) shock absorbders already so I'm quids in. No hassle, other than havign to get the garage to fill in and fax a form to them.

Aren't they pretty expensive and I didn't buy from a franchised dealer. Would I be able to put a LR warranty on my car.? Ash

yes you can put a landrover warranty on your car... I believe you have to go for a test or something before you take it out so they can check the car isn't falling to pieces...
