Just gone to mine, pressed the remote button and for the first time both opened - it seems to have a mind of its own ! I am not sure what's standard and what isn't Rolling Eyes 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

As upper and lower open remotely depending on how they are triggered it would be nice if it was a configurable option with an IID tool so you can decide yourself. For example, if you don't have a towbar then both could open with the remote.

Mine seems to vary - not yet been bothered to test it but maybe it depends on whether the car is locked or not.......

just had a quick play with mine. Shocked

If opening from locked - just the upper part opens.
If opening from unlocked, both parts open.

(I dont have a tow bar)

Just been out to try to get a definitive answer on this.

Mine is now opening both top and bottom with both remote and the gesture tailgate, it makes absolutely no difference from whether she is Locked or unlocked. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
