An Indy might charge less but I was really looking to see if anyone else has had experience of this type of noise.... |

My car has the same problem they LR garage says it has the manifold exhaust studs broken in one side and makes the noise... and 2.400€ to fix it

Mine did this when I had it, it was the drivers side right hand one which had warped and snapped most of the studs.

My 2007 MY08 Is running great at 267000km. And I have cained it on soft sand. But has been serviced every 10k km. I’m loving it ATM. ______________________________

Gon, possibly take it back to see what LR say. My Indy put a stop leak sealant through my motor to stop a leak. It seems to have worked.

I guess the manifold stud fix is expensive as it requires engine removal? Mine as had head gaskets replaced. which required engine removal. In many vehicles this is possible in stiu. |
