Enabling TPMS using IID Tool

Does anyone know, or could they have a look at their RR using the IID Tool, to see what the TPMS settings are so I can enable. Ive had a chat with Pat from GAP who gave me the settings from his 2010, but this hasnt enabled it. Any help much appreciated. Chris

I do Stan including the spare. I first tried a random setting in Tyre Pressure Monitoring 1 which then bought up the option on the dash settings for TPMS, but after driving it said TPMS was not available. Theres about 20-30 different options that I can choose, but dont know which one... Chris

Its a strange one Stan. Ive got the original spare but the 4 main tyres are from another RR. I dont know whether they were the same year. So yes this could be the issue, but if I knew the right settings I could know for sure. Chris

i see what you mean about all the different iidtool settings re tpms ,

i would go for 'tire pressure monitoring 1' as 'undefined'
and 'tire pressure monitoring 2' as 'tpms fitted'

not sure re those settings but its an educated guess...

another possibility is that you dont have the sensors fitted ...you can check by having a look at the following,

You must be the first person to want to enable TPMS, most people find it very unreliable and produces false alerts. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Thanks Stan. Looked at my build on VIN site and it has TPMS installed. I have tried your settings suggestion and it at least now has the TPMS Warning light come up during ignition on the dash during the light check, so a good start! I guess I need to drive a bit for the system to register the valve sensors. Chris

I've been having issues with mine since fitting 2016 wheels and sensors. I believe they changed the sensors around 2014, and the new ones won't work properly with an older car.
In the end I just disabled it with IIDTool!

Oddly I had been having issues with the original TPMS system on my 2007 RR, it operated occasionally but mostly it showed a TPMS system error, I changed all the sensors for new but it made little difference, just recently I fitted a set of take offs (2018 20”) from Dan, since then my TPMS system has been much more reliable......so not sure what’s going on here. David

Please let me know if my comments upset you, I may wish to upset you again.
