it is really in a very nice condition,i drove back home yesterday more than 800 km, very smooth...

i just had a message "engine performance downgraded" when a i was nearly at home..
but no power loss or anything noticeable..

It does look nice. I actually like that colour combination, Silver was my other colour choice after black.
Unsure of the warning message. Has it happened again? & what was the driving scenario prior to the warning message,
I presume this was accompanied by the dreaded bong Whistle

hi
yep a bong, the message and it disappeared after 5 sec
i was driving under cruise control around 90km/h , tank full of petrol or nearly..
the vehicule was pre-owned by an old man, and only did 14000km in two years..
i continue investigate and if nescessary go to LR dealer for a check.

France 2007 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Hi, congrats with the car, they are great! mine is a 2007 my, same colour as yours but with black interior, hot and cold seats, cornering lights, etc. bought it nearly 4 years ago, done 155000 km now on LPG from new and apart from a new dynamo and the normal services no costs at all. Very reliable. If you see a rhd silver one around Perigueux, it's mine. Just put it up for sale last week and got 3 frenchmen very interested, because they live in the pastille cities. Think mine is the only lpg one in France. Enjoy it, they are lovely cars and without sc better for your drivers licence points. Thumbs Up

It might have just had a moment, as they do Shocked. If it happens again, then investigate further, other wise don't loose any sleep over it.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it Thumbs Up .

My AJV8 4.4 also had this message with no reduction in performance.
It was solved by a new MAF sensor - easy fix !

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Congratulations Vogue16, it looks like a lovely example, nice and original, hope you're enjoying it.

As others have said, while you should always investigate warning messages, don't be surprised if on occasions they reveal absolutely nothing. I've owned L322's for most of the last 10 years and you'll soon learn that they're strange creatures!

You may get a warning message one day, you turn off your engine and it vanishes! - 6 months later it re-appears, then vanishes again. I had a 2004 TDV6 L322 once which occasionally made a very odd, intermittent humming sound. This low noise came from under the bonnet and was particularly noticeable when cold. It was a frequent occurrence - I covered 100,000 miles in that car, yet nothing ever came of it!
