I just discovered the clear coat on the roof of my 11/2007 L322 is peeling.

While the car lives outside it does get a clean every week and regularly treated with a range of wax products since I bought it 3 years ago. These include 1Z wash/wax shampoo, chemical guys quick detailer, various spray on wax products, mosthers tradional wax, and most recently BH double speed wax.

Our Peugeot lives in the same conditions and doesn’t get quite as much attention yet is ok other than in plastic areas.

Has anyone had the same problem.

My old Disco 300 did the same thing, as did my BMW 318ti and 525i.
Hmm they are all built under BMW ownership
Must be down to our high UV levels here in NZ.
