2007 Range Rover SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Should the center console air vent controls be illuminated?

I am beginning to doubt myself now but i am sure the the blue and red control for the center air vents used to be illuminated in my 2007 TDV8 2007 is it as simple as a bulb that's blown?

Also whilst asking the control on the vent on top of the dash has never illuminated am i right in thinking that one doesn't light up?

don't think either ever illuminated. Certainly not on mine (2004)

2006 Range Rover HSE Td6 Buckingham Blue

Just had a look at my 06' and noticed it's only partially lit, passengers side, hadn't noticed before, must investigate, probably a bulb issue.
