Dashboard vibration

Bought a low mileage L322 last w/end, very happy with the condition. A few faults to correct as usual. One thing I’d like advice on, around 65mph a humming rattle starts under the centre of the dash top. It gets pretty loud at 70. Is there anything common to check? Is the dash cover easy to remove or is it a horror story?

That’s brilliant David, thank you for that. The passenger cup holder is stuck closed too, now I know how to get that out too.

Couldn’t agree more. The TV doesn’t work either, dreadful state of affairs really.

If anyone reads this it turned to be the plastic housing around the pollen filter. At the moment I’ve got some foam wdged in to stop the vibration, much quieter.
