The video was under the campaign name of “Range Rover Firefly”. There’s no trace of it on YouTube now Sad

I imagine someone’s unpopular at LR at the minute Rolling Eyes

Thanks for that Emilio . Thankfully it doesn’t make my 2015 look too dated . Thumbs Up

welcome 362bkr

the rover is such an icon it didnt need much in the way of updating design wise. if i had my way id just lose the door gills and enlarge the grills at the bottom of the headlights(similar to what overfinch and urban do).

1 thing that im reserving judgement on until i see it in the flesh, from that short video reveal it seems the lower touch screen is way too upright but it could be just the angle of the camera when filmed.

always preferred seat controls on the door a la mercedes, so much easier to adjust on the fly. other manufacturers say they dont put them there because they dont want drivers adjusting their seats while driving, i find i still adjust my seat every now and then and its way too fiddly and distracting getting your hand down the seat and searching for the controls.

I'm hoping to get an order in as soon as the 2018MY becomes available.
Anybody know yet, when it's likely to be?

If you look carefully, they have changed the obvious bits like lights F&R and the front grille. But, look closer and you will see they have changed the front bumper, side grilles are now 4 bars and even the bonnet has changed! Shocked The centre 2/3rds are now raised instead of scalloped!!! Thumbs Up

Norway

Went to the local LR dealer today - made a pre-order (possibility to pull out of that, though) to spec and buy the new PHEV L405 when the price and specs have been set here in Norway. The hope is to get a car early - in March/April 2018 - if we decide to do that. Here in Norway we expect a rush for the RRS P400e and the new L405 PHEV - the Volvo XC90 T8 and the other PHEV premium SUVs have sold a lot due to the lower taxation for PHEVs.

Have a 2017 L405 Autobiography on test now - fantastic car! We will also test the Volvo XC90 T8 and the new Cayenne (will come with the PHEV setup as the Panamera) before we make a decision.

looking at the centre armrest does it seem it may fold back to also be a seat? Seems a bit less 'fixed' than before maybe? Stunning!
