immobiliser problem

hi guys, can anyone advise, i went on a short journey yesterday then parked my rangey, five minutes later i got back into it and it wouldnt start, it turned over but wouldnt run. i got green flag to come out and the mechanic went through a sequence of pressing my 3 buttons on the key, unlock, boot open and lock many times then the car started. is there a certain sequence i could follow if this happens again. thanks for looking.

The only time I have had that is when my immobiliser lost sync with the engine ECU and I had to put the engine ECU into learn mode and then send a code from the EWS3D immobiliser and then take the engine ECU back out of learn. I did this with my Faultmate

Thanks for your reply, but took it to a landy specialist and he hooked it up and it turned out to be a dodgy fuel pump
