Whining noise when coasting.

I find myself alert to any strange noises when driving my RR (probably comes from reading the FFRR forum to much Smile

When I am coasting, say down hill with foot off accelerator pedal, I notice a distinct whining noise presumably from the transmission or something. As soon as I accelerate again the noise disappears.

Is this normal? Or does it presage some transmission problem?

It's not the aircon as I turned that off.

Diff? (have you had the oils changed at all? could be low?

No DB I've not had any oil changed during my short ownership. I'll look into getting it done. Many thanks.
