How many wires are you talking , can you look at the Rave wiring diagram for both sides and match the colours to the relevant position for both sides or get a multimete and compare which is live and earth with other side?

pure luck the plug had numbers on that I couldn't see without my glasses and workshop manual gives numbered wires . |
