Hi guys,

Noticed on Gary's new for sale listing mention of 'Audio Upload'.

Is this possible? I must admit I did presume the HDD unit could take music when I was buying mine, but I have not found this in the manual or anywhere.

Am I missing something?

no you're not missing anything Greg..the 2010-2012 hard drive cant store audio and i dont know why Gary has listed that option ,maybe he cut&pasted from some info somewhere ..

the newer L405 has this option i believe.. ... - .- -.

I think at the time a lot of people me included assumed the HDD meant you could upload, as you could on other cars (was it VW's or Audis?).

Just like the old saying goes about assuming!

i reckon the L405 options like audio upload and nav directions on the speedo dash could be 'activated' in ours as i'm sure the hard drive is the same ... ... - .- -.

Same theory here. I do love my digital dash. But check out Red's just posted. Love the fuel gauge! Bit jealous Red...

Maybe the "Audio upload" option refers to the ability to play audio through the USB socket?

it refers to loading CD's and 'storing' the tracks onto the hard drive Mike...obviously a planned option for ours but not implemented.. ... - .- -.
