I’ve been looking for a headunit to upgrade mine as the rear compartment gubbins is suffering from incontinence....

My son installed a Pumpkin head unit in his Golf about 12 months ago and it's proved very reliable. It's remarkably OEM looking and was pretty plug'n'play so your install will be a bit more complex but the hifi, phone set-up, reversing camera and general android functionality are all far better than you'd expect at these prices.

I don’t have 4x4 info on mine but I was lead to believe that you still have the mpg, distance remaining etc still available on the instrument cluster. As far as the clock is concerned you can set it at 12 o’clock with the fuse removal trick.

I think the Range Rover dash is man enough to take it, but I’ll take the new screen measurements and cut out a template then hold it in place just to see how big it really is.
