yes it will flatten the battery so you need to attach a battery trickle charger or keep the engine running... ... - .- -.

it lets you select a destination whilst moving.....we [in our model years] have this feature already.. ... - .- -.

Hi Stan I thought about keeping engine running but Pat at Gap diagnostics said that I cannot do this? Also you say a trickle charge so can I attach my car battery charger to the battery whilst it's connected to the car and charge it this way and it will not damage the battery or put to much voltage through the car as it's connected to the car terminals.

I used a ctek smart charger when I did the blue tooth update on mine.
