Thanks for the replies guys,

I will ask the mechanic who changed the head gaskets as I would have thought he would have had to take
Them out when he removed the heads or when he changed the egr coolers.

Thanks

Well the mechanic who did the head gaskets has had the car for a week whilst I was away
And has reported back that he can find no misfire or any other problem with the car. He said when I collect
He will come out with me. So out we went and guess what not one problem car was as smooth as silk. So I
Took him back and went home. Car is running lovely.

So when I got home I connected my iid tool and checked the injector balancing again

Guess what the low injector (number 6) is now back up with all the others. Coincidence? Maybe the car liked being back with him for a while or he did something and doesn't want to tell me out of pride on his previous work. Either way I have it back how I want it.

Result either way.

Well looks like I spoke too soon. The car has started to judder again. Not all the time just two or three times a week.
all at very low speed.

the engine got abit rough so I plugged in my Fault reader and got the following:

P02A0-00 (2F) Cylinder 2 balance - Injector restricted.

I have also noticed that EGR 1 the commanded and the actual seem to vary they go up and down together
but the actual will will go 10% either side and fluctuate where EGR 2 stays rock solid commanded and actual the same?

Could this all be an EGR fault? Can they interfere with injectors?

Any ideas would be great, a leak down test has been suggested.

Thanks,
Steve.

EGR playing up will defo cause a judder pal , and the fact the other EGR is rock solid suggests one is stick at certain times , clean it maybe ?

Thanks I suppose without removing it I expect only a spray will clean the egr.
When I started it to go home tonight it was a little rough I checked the egrs
And they cycled through ok and the commanded and actual was the same. Still
abit up and down on one of them but I also had a cylinder balance of 1350 on number four
Which is the one after number two which triggered the fault.
