Me too. I used to drive tractors regularly from then on too. Gives you an advantage when taking to the road as you have already got to grips with clutch control, manouvering, and general vehicle spatial awareness. |

Learnt to drive a tractor mower at about 10. Not sure that counts though. But it did help with steering braking and POWER!! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I bought my first car in 1960 when I was 12. It was a Morris Z utility and cost me 5 quid. I drove it around my grandfather's property.
