Ignition problem

Morning all,

I have an issue looming with my ignition switch I think.

It's only done it a couple of times but turned the key this morning and nothing?? Tried the key in the on odff switch a few times and she started up.

I checked the battery and that was fine as initially I thought the battery was flat and that's why it wouldn't start.

Looking online it appears common?? Does anyone have details of what part needs changing as I don't want to get caught short!!

Looks like your switch is on the way out. Repacement switch is approx £99 IIRC. Do a search on "igntion switch" Best replace it before it packs in completely . As I know to my cost. Crying or Very sad John

The switch is separate to the ignition barrel, it's the switch below the barrel that fails so you keep your old key.... Pete

Easy change, 1hr max, all you need is a set of torx bits. I only changed the actual switch side of the barrel not the barrel itself.
