Did you get a V5c in your name?

In a sad tale, just spotted something that looks so wrong (probably just inadvertent camera trickery) it lightened the moment and made me laugh. Schoolboy humour

Even allowing for the wheels and the deplorable steps, their pricing is brave!

I did get a log book in my name, i had the car best part of 5 months.
The current sales price is nearly more than £2K more than actually paid for it, at this price you may as well go and order a new one with same spec, absolutely ridiculous price.
I have been on Car wow and created a car with exactly the same spec and with the discount the purchase price was just over 102K on the road.
I have fired off an e-mail asking them whether the update for the infotainment system is now available as i would now consider purchasing another one knowing the problems have been sorted.
I have been informed recently by another source (a service manage at another dealer) the update has been put back until October of this year.
I really do hope they have fixed the issues and the next owner has a trouble free time with it as it is a lovely car.

I have had a reply back from the Dealer, saying all updates have been applied and the are no problems with the car.

well they did tell me the sky was blue, so i did check and it was black

I guess I'll find out when I pick mine up in a month... How long did it take until you found that something was wrong?

Either way, I'll double check that it's running on then current firmware before it's collected.

How long can you wait until you have to commit?

The system stalled the first time i got in mine, but thought it was me pressing the wrong buttons.
It froze the most times on start up, however it did freeze from time to time during a journey.
problems it caused me when stalling.
if playing music it would suddenly, this was on on all types of media.
on sat nav would stop talking to you. LOL
when reversing it was like it had taken a picture, this would stay on until the system closed down.
i had head up display and the traffic sign recognition would go blank.
when system stalled no touch screen would work and i even tried to turn the unit it off to reduce time it was froze and this also didn't work.
The time to restart varied from 30 secs to sometimes 5 minutes.
other issues were
warning came up in clocks, AEB not initialising from time to time, i do believe an update is available and sort this out.
Climate Control Temperature control not working.

Other people have suffered with their phone disconnecting but i was never using my phone when the system stalled as no rings me LOL
One last thing that really annoyed me, is I had to buy a sim card to get live updates, something i hope they have looked at.

Other than that a complete joy to drive and I miss it like crazy.
I am about to order another one just want the update to confirmed as complete, as this fault wasn't in every car (so I am told)

If you order a new one now you will get the velar style info system in it weather its better or not is another question, but its meant to work very well i hear its panasonic tech i beleive.

That is a very good question, i don't know if they are or staying with the current one. I will be asking though
