Thanks for the replies chaps, but I don't have my 405 yet, so I'd be grateful if you could nip out and have a look and see if there is anything just in front of where the lens would be (passenger side of rear view mirror) so that, if I get it, I can be sure that it will work in the new car

Yep this is the one I have - I think brain not fully in gear after staying up to watch the fight, early hours of this morning! The solar glass for those that have, affects things like gps satellite pickup , e.g. for tomtoms etc, which could also affect the dashcash and ability to give map location of journeys - will need to check, will also check on the forum as per Stan suggestion |

I bought it yesterday and although I hadn't set the sat nav up, or even plugged it in, I fitted the mirror for the drive home.
