Mail order from a Pom living in Australia.

BAS is another good option for reducing impact of EGRs. ______________________________

Is it not easier to have it turned off properly at your local rolling road or MAP specialist? Cost £20 when I've had it done in the past.

Unfortunately you cant just turn them off on the TDV8 like you can on the TD6! Its been discussed a fair bit and one solution seems to be the emulators from down under. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue

There will be a way, no such thing as can't. Pretty certain the guy I use does has done tdv8s in the past, he's a whizz kid though and an ex BMW main dealer programmer!
He's a handy guy to know!

Spoke to my local remap/rolling road guy this morning, it is just a simple procedure to turn off EGR on all RR models, his words to me were this, 'if so called specialists can't turn them off then they aren't specialists and don't have the correct software'.
Slightly off subject, I asked out of curiosity what power he could get out of my TD6, his reply... just under 300bhp but your gearbox won't last long! Hahaa!
