United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black
4.4 V8 MPG

Been on a nice trip today to a country fair.

Mostly single carriageway A roads with some wriggly B roads thrown in.

Amazed to record on a 1 hour 51 minute journey of 83 miles an overall MPG figure of 38.3!!!

Had expected to get 30 in general use so very happy - it actually beats the Extra Urban figure of 37.1 shown in the brochure!

Anyone else had better ? Very Happy

That's interesting Thumbs Up

By way of comparison, my current 2016MY D4 SDV6 only averages around 27-27.5 mpg via the trip computer and 25.0 mpg via a longer term, brim to brim, calculation method Shocked

Cornwall doesn't tend to give great mpg figures (too many hills) but even so, with an SDV8 on the way, this might even give me a little mpg relief!

Are those fuel computer figures, or calculated brim to brim?

My readings come from the Remote App which details journeys by stating the start and finish time, start and finish locations, duration, average speed, distance, and MPG.

App also, shows the route you took on a little map.

Didn't do so well today, 1 hour 6 minute journey, 41 mph, 42.6 miles and 36.2 MPG

They are still marvellous figures Thumbs Up

Wow! Shocked

Although, in all fairness, you probably didn't have quite as many hills as we have! Wink

I've averaged 30-31mpg over 35k miles with a mixture of motorway and A/B roads, and when allowed by traffic, with a heavy foot Smile

Fantastic performance for such a large capable vehicle. MY23 D350 HSE
