Hi all I have just got a set of doorcards from a 2010. Loving the new feature of a light behind the handle... however one of the cards has a different colour. All are white except the rear driver which is pro age like a BMW orange - what is the correct colour?

just looked at mine [2012] and they are whitish... ... - .- -.

I had to (as matt mentioned) sand the front cards very thin around the airbag area so it is flexible like the originals in order to avoid shrapnel flying everywhere should they go off... I didn't realise but the rears don't have side airbags so these were plug and play ... you can disable the airbags and put a cancelling resistor in but it's up to you how far you go.

Also speaker wise - the rears in the 02 have a mid and a bass - the 10+ have a tweeter and a mod where the bass is so I had to swap them over and get dremel creative.

I then used the new hk mids in the fronts as they are fixed and I put the tweeters from the back to replace the front tweeters...

Finally you might get odd leds in the handles like me but make sure they come with the trim inserts the pics were taken at low light I thought they had them in they didn't and now I am trying to now pay £80 each but they are mega rare... I have ordered one and some 4mm oak veneer and am going to try and fabricate some... cheers


they sound a lot better even though they are still on the same amp - could do with the new bass speakers now as well
