Find a new mechanic at that price, mine charge the job as hourly can be a con I've found over the years with a few places you'd save money going 10 20 mile. _____________________________________________________

Is this meant to be for the L405 part of the forum? Rates may be different for newer vehicles? .

I've just been quoted about £260 for six hours, VAT will get sneaked on I'm sure but it's still only 50 quid an hour. the six hours is for a Service, MOT and fitting new supercharger (don't ask ) Geoff |

Joe90 this is for a 322.
His quote is for a number of jobs; one is 1.5 hours plus the 0 rings for the classic 4.4TDV8 oil pipe problem: http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic35977....pe+o+rings So that seems ok to me in terms of number of hours* (*although I have not done this) - it involves removing and replacing the pollen filter box to get to it. .
