Why in the movies.....................?

Is it never a Mercedes M Class, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, a Suzuki, a Land Cruiser, a Lexus Rh, a Nissan Pattrol or any other brand of SUV that is used to carry round the very wealthy, the very famous, the very powerful, the very important. the very successful or just the really nice people? It is, 99 out 100 times. a Range Rover (or just very occasionally a Range Rover Sport) that is the car of choice - either a Black one or a silver one. Land Rover must be really delighted to have been so successful with their product placement. I've watched about 10 feature films on DvD in the last week (yes sad I know but there's little else to do out here even with 35 channels on the telly, only two are in English and both are crappy Murdoch NewsCorp channels with adverts every 10 minutes) - at least the BBC World Service is available on FM 88.9 on the radio! Meet The Fokkers is the big movie on Newscorps Ch5 tonight, IIRC from the l;ast time I saw it there are no FFRR's featured in it - no rich/famous/powerful/successful people are portrayed in it, just disfunctional American loonies.................. so there won't be any FFRR's Laughing

Oooops somehow I managed to post this in the wrong section...................... should be in the general or spotted sections.... sorry guys! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

watched one last night where there were 6 L322's being driven by diplomats and oil sheiks, businessmen - shakers and movers basically! Switched off Meet the Fockers at 10:30, it wasn't so funny 3rd time round.......

Axle - yesterday was a less boring day - the crew payroll arrived for me to calculate.......................... today I'll find out how much cash and allotments they want to make and on Saturday I'll count out their money, Sunday will have a day-off due to exhaustion/ overwork, Monday I'll give out the money! Mr. Green That will be the heavy work over until we move away or the end of the month! Oh I have to order 300tonnes of drinking water and some more fresh fruit and vegetables today - might have to make Saturady a quiet day too and push the other jobs into next week. The boys won't be going ashore to spend their money so they won't be in a hurry to get it! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
