3.6 Glow plug

It's been a bit chilly here lately, even getting down to about 8-10 degrees C. The other morning I was a bit slow to turn the motor over and saw the coil wire warning light which went out quite quickly.

Does the 3.6 tdv8 have glow plugs and does anyone use them? ______________________________

Mine did and being in Scotland, they were used all the time. Whistle

I believe all diesels have them in order to get the chamber hot enough to support combustion.

You'll see a yellow coil symbol while they're heating up.
