Hi thanks for allowing me to join I have a 2003 L322 audio problem I have no sound,stereo buttons do nothing,no sound on sat navy and no picture on TVs which also displays mute at the bottom of the screen

Hello all

Have just registered for the FFRR forum having spent many happy years on the Defender2.net site also run by Martin.

However I'm about to make my last post on Defender site as tomorrow the 110 goes in to the dealer for part exchange against a 4.4 Autobiography.

It wasn't an easy decision to make as I bought the Defender in 2104 as a "keeper". But we went to Goodwood Festival of Speed and came across the LR stand, where there was a really nice FFRR sat waiting to be drooled over. Swmbo and I basically fell in love with the car on the spot and at least twice a day for the 4 days we were there kept going back for "just one more look"

Back in the real world I was looking on the LR site and discovered that our local dealer had a pre reg AB 4.4 with 22 miles on his forecourt. So we went "just for a look" .....as you do! It was speccd almost identically to some on line builds I'd done, although I'd been building in different colours. The Farallon Black has a lovely blue pigment which doesn't come across on line.

We were very happy with the price paid and the PX offered for the Defender so decision was made. You only live once!

Car is in Farallon Black with ivory interior and IMHO look oks stunning.

We have had a number of LR over the years (amongst other cars!) and first LR was in 1997 when I had a Freelander. Next up was a silver 110 Defender, which was swappped for a RRS. That was a lovely car. Eventually sold that, and via a few other cars came back to a Defender in 2014, now on to the FFRR.

So pick up day is tomorrow, not sure how much sleep I'm going to get tonight!

Will post some "proud owner" pictures tomorrow and look forward to the friendly banter and advice these sites unlock.

New on here, and a RR novice!!

Don't own one YET ......but looking to buy a RR SC on a budget of £10k.

I'm gonna be going down the private sale route I think, obviously history is a biggy and I'm not put off by highish milers.

Any tips from anyone for what to specifically look out for.

Has anyone got one they want to offload.

I'm after silver with black leather in Vogue SE spec.

Great site and forum by the way , ive already read a few threads and feel comfortable with buying one having been put off by a lot of people re maintainence costs and reliability issues.
