United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Did you replace both top hoses ?

One of mine caused more smoke than the other.

Just contact cleaner. Here's a discussion on MAP cleaning.

cheers.. will look at both MAP and MAF sensors today as we have summer for next few days Smile

Would the WD40 contact cleaner be ok? I thought it had to be an Alcohol based MAF specialist cleaner? Current:

No WD40 will leave an oil residue which will capture more junk. ______________________________

Sorry. I didn't realise WD40 sell a contact cleaner. It should be fine. ______________________________

Will try that too. I had a split hose and lots of smoke, now replaced but still get some smoke at acceleration. 07 3.6 TDV8 Vogue

Im in the same situation mate..

I drove down south at the start at the way and on the way up the road I floored it over 3000 rpm at night - massive cloud but noticed since then I have not had the black smoke.

As suggested earlier it could be the build up of oil but would really like to work out whats causing the smoke. Current:
