A few L322 questions

Hi all

Just a few questions about the L322, as I am (once again) considering buying one in the near future. It will more than likely be a TD6 auto and will be a "project" car.

*I have been through the wiki area a searched for information regarding EGR blanking but can not find anything for the TD6? Can someone point me in the right direction?

*I know that the auto box can be a concern so one of the first things I would do is flush the box and replace the filter. What are folks thoughts regarding adding Dr Tranny as a precautionary measure?

*If the auto box sump it steel rather than plastic on a 2005 Vogue is is fair to assume that the auto box has been flushed previously?

Thanks

Jim

For EGR blanking you need something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-RANGE-ROVER...1553631002

The TD6 autobox didn't have a plastic sump so it isn't safe to assume it has been done.

For peace of mind I would do an oil and filter change. The recommended fluid is Texaco ELT7045E. Personally I wouldn't use anything else and only genuine Filtran filter. John
