Alarm Testing and AV screen info please.

Two questions for more experienced FFRR owners please.

How do I test the alarm?
I tried sitting inside and locking/alarming the car, then waiting for a while, then I tried opening the drivers door from the inside. I couldn't open it, but jiggled the door handles few times. No alarm sounded.

How long does the AV screen take to power down?
I waited a 2-3 minutes, but the screen didn't power off and the red light by the gear-stick 'Park' stayed illuminated.

Thanks.

Screen should go off when you leave the car and shut the door

Red light may stay on for 10 minutes or more .

Hmm... my screen stays on for at least few minutes. I gave up after about three minutes and left the car Locked, presumably alarmed, but with the screen still on.

I did go back half an hour later and the screen and red light were off and the alarm light was flashing on the dash.

I will do some accurate screen off timings tomorrow.
