I had the same noise after I fired a cheap pump. It's still working a year later though. The noise is louder as the fuel level falls. When the tank is full there is no noise. I just decided to live with it and turn the music up |

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll change it out for a better quality one. Any recommendations for a source for just the pump on it's own rather than the whole assembly? |

I have now had the same problem (with noise from the replacement pump) twice. 1st time round I replaced just the pump with cheapest from Eurocarparts & 2nd time round whole assembly (incl pump) cheapest from Eurocarparts
