It's not entirely unsecured though, is it - the car is still worth a bit (although if the deposit is low and there are problems in the first 12 months, perhaps not quite as much as the loan outstanding).

You can get all that info from the website. Build your car and then get a finance quote instantly. Check carwow to have a look at what additional discount is easily available first, then add that extra discount to your deposit to see what you'd actually pay. There is wiggle room on the APR as well though. |

We may have a misunderstanding - the lower rate bank loan is unsecured, the Land Rover PCP is secured.

You will certainly do better than an effective £5k discount on an outright sale, with no finance messing. |

The most that I was offered, via CarWow or any dealer, for a standard deal, was around £4,785.00, with an additional £2,500.00 on top from LR if I took finance - and that was on a RR priced north of £100,000!

Ah, yes. Sorry. But you can get a PCP nearer 3.5% from elsewhere (other than via Land Rover), even on used vehicles eg. via the buyacar.co.uk website - which even sells Land Rover dealer vehicles. |

Last month, was intimated that a 10% discount on a new order, no trade in, would be doable; 8% without any real asking. Suppose it depends how badly they need a sale. |

Did any of them give you a written offer of either 8 or 10%? |

No, never had a written offer for a deal. |

Sorry - my bad. Still, much better than the 10.9% APR that Land Rover offer on used vehicles. They do sell new ones too - but they just do that via a dealer. Halifax PCP offers 3.4% APR as long as you only want to borrow £60k. https://www.halifax.co.uk/car-finance/compare/ |

Yes, 10.9% is shocking, although I was being offered 6.9 and 7.9% on near new.
