Replacement Tyres L405 22 inch ....

Hi

I need a new set of 22 inch tyres for my Autobiography. Currently running Continental .... any other suggestions and where is best place to shop?

Tyres on the Drive look very good value ...

The usual suspects - oponeo, black circles, camskill etc

I plan on sticking with conti - be careful as there are 2 types in the same size - silent and regular

I'm also going to do the maths on a new set from eBay and sell on the old ones

I put a post up about Conti's recently, because I had "Silents" I had a bit of a struggle getting anyone to repair a puncture. I got the Gen off Conti (Wiki) but it was still a struggle, I did get it done eventually, I think maybe I will stick with the non silent version in future because according to various websites it isn't much, if any, quieter and of course they're cheaper Geoff

After having 22" Conti silents, i have just moved to 22" pirelli scorpion and a much quieter ride. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I have always preferred Pirelli to Contis, in terms of grip and wear on FFRR's. Current MY2020
Gone: 1 x L405 and 2 x L322's

I have heard Dunlops tyres are very quiet and great value .... anyone here used them?

Apparently tyres are now quoted with DB levels and Dunlops quitter than Continentals.
