United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Fuji White

Re the engines. The new ingenium six cylinder engines are due and maybe this is why there'll be a limited choice initially. It's about time as all the larger engines in JRL cars are starting to look very elderly.

Possibly but the 5l Supercharged are built in Bridgend under a joint scheme with Ford, this contract doesn't expire until some point in 2018 so they are contracted to take engines until then. Suspect that's the main reason the bigger Ingenium engines haven't been released until then.

V6 and V8 diesels are also sourced from Ford (Dagenham and Chihuahua respectively) - think they're contracted until 2020.

4 cylinder petrol Ingenium hybrid appears to be a 2018 engine option.

The 3litre Supercharged petrol as in the Disco 5 is already available which is an ingenium engine.

It isn't, it's the AJ126 supercharged V6 (which is the weird V8-with-some-bits-missing).

That's what the dealer was telling me last Tuesday when picking up our new D5. I was surprised as well.

Wouldn't have it in a D5 let alone RR, many dealers have been caught out with ordering too many 2l D5 that they might get stuck with.
