They were all rot boxes mate but its the joy of driving them the blue twin plenum is my dads thats done 45k frome new hewas offerd £10000 for it and said no |

SD1's were fantastic motors. I've had 4 of them . Always wanted a Vitesse in red. The twin plenum wasn't standard is I remember. I'd still love one again.. Tony

My Dad had two SD1s, both V8 5 speed manuals. In early July 1980 i passed my driving test aged 17 yrs 6 months. In late July that year, the old man did his back in and couldn't drive. He couldn't sign off work so I got to drive him around the country in a 'Pendilican' white SD1 with beige/gold interior. Spent 6 weeks driving thousands of miles in that car and loved it. Was a bit tail happy though..... |

The gold one now has american lights too but fiber glass coppies the ones in the blue one are genuine ones |

Knew they were rare, but didn't realise so few were made. A mate had one and used to do track days with it, it was lower than a snakes belly. |
