Ok, I might be jumping the gun in terms of writing this up as I've only driven the car 35 miles since it was done this morning but WOWAH WEEWAAH! - High Five! as Borat would say.

On long runs I am averaging about 25-26mpg but I do travel around at about 90mph. If you go slower it creeps up to 27+, even had it at 30mpg but that was driving like my dad. Discovery 4 HSE

My mistake - It's Turbo Chip that uses the Autologic upgrade.

Can someone tell me if the FFRR received the same diesel engine changes as the BMW X5 did between 2002 and when it was replaced in 2007? I seem to recall the X5 started with around 130Kw and 480nm and ended up with around 150kw and 500nm? Did the last TD6 FFRR have the latter power and torque? ANyone know what a Turbochip remap does to the latter engine? I'm thinking if it goes to say 180kw and 580nm it wouldnt be a bad bit of kit as they say!!! |
