Not sure how old this post is, as an update the key with two buttons is the current replacement key supplied when you order direct from land rover. It's cut and programmed in UK by BMW(UK), looks just like a BMW key. I just orders one which started my l322 fine but I could not programme it to unlock, I believe this is because my L322 was built as a test car for the Japanese market and has a different radio frequency for the keys.

I thought you might find this interesting.
Last November I had my "smart" water meter replaced. If you zoom in on the pic, Hey Presto it also uses the 433mhz frequency.
