tailgate powerlift upgrade

Hi,

Is there anybody here that did a powerlift upgrade for the tailgate like on L405.

I am considering a AUTOEASE kit.

I think it would be a great upgrade for the L322.

I did think about it.. just couldn't get my head round how you would close it. true smart key would operate it to open but do we need to put a button on the tailgate somewhere? Current:
- L560 Velar HSE R-Dynamic D180
- Peugeot 508 2011 - 2.2 HDi GT

Past:
- FFRR V 2010 - 3.6 TDV8
- Citroen C4 1.6i Petrol
- Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2 DID
- Peugeot 607 2.2 HDi
- Nissan Primera 1.8 SVE
- Honda Civic 1.6 VTEC

Nice to have but why would you really bother? Also, why in the video does he have to pull the tailgate down before pushing the button to close it? Alex

I seem to remember some discussion on the forum about this a little while ago and believe that Cam Tech Craig did look into into it as a potential aftermarket conversion.

I think in the end it was going to be too complicated on the engineering side of things as the L322 has a split tailgate with a couple of different lock mechanisms which were not going to be easy (or cost effective enough) to re-engineer.

Having said that, I still wonder about it...... Whistle 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

Alex, he pulls it down then closes it, it then reopens to that position, I think it's to program the boot lid opening to a set open position.

Cool system, but I agree with the split tailgate it makes it less useful as a mod. Tom

Hi guys,
I agree with the split tailgate it is less usefull, but does anyone have an idea which system may work since Autoease does not sell a kit for the L322?

Kevin
