Actually "Rupert" applies to any officer from junior lieutenant upwards when spoken of by "other" (I.e non-officer) ranks.

Interior pictures as requested, the first 4 are from the previous owner, as you can see it actually looked pretty good. Considering shes done 120k its not bad at all. However I sent it for an interior valet and the last three pictures are a "during" showing a cleaned side and a dirty side of a seat. I don't have any "afters" as it were. but you can see how much of an improvement was made during the valet.

My tdv8 is a similar age and has a similar colour interior, with 260k km or 185k miles. The interior in these cars seems to cope very well with regular use. My drivers seat cushion has been replaced but otherwise original.

The trip round the top of Scotland went fantastically well. The old girl performed very well belting round the very north of the country. We covered about 1500 miles all told and averaged just shy of 20mpg overall. Little man was pleased with the RSE. The only issue we had was a slow puncture which was easily repaired.

Mine has just gone over 100,000 miles and the interior is still holding up well also.
