Speed related locking.....

I've been having a little play with my IID tool to switch on and off some functions and I've enabled the speed related locking, I've read some threads through the search function that there is no auto unlock function but these threads are a few years old so I'm just wondering if anyone knows if anything has changed in this regard with an update or a reflash?

The locking part is working as it should be I was expecting it to unlock when the key was removed, which it doesn't.

Just thought I'd ask here before bothering Patrick incase anyone has come across the same thing recently.

Many thanks in advance......... Thumbs Up

Thank you Sir........ Thumbs Up

I've gone through the menu a few times and can't seem to find anything about unlocking, I'd assume if it was available it would automatically be enabled when the auto locking function was switched on.

I seem to remember that there was an autounlock setting (with the BBS Faultmate) on my 4.2 (2005 built, 2006 modelyear), I never activated it (not a good thing in Nigeria), but it was there. But it does need to be done with the Faultmate and I'm sure the IID can do it as well. The 2010 has it in the configuration menu in the car. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

@Stan, good lord man, that sounds like a lot of work, bit of a first world problem......... Embarassed

It's not the having to press or do anything to open all the doors that's a problem, it's having to remember to do it before I get out and go around to the back or the other side only to discover that it's still locked and having to go back that's the problem, neither the body nor mind are quite what they were.... Embarassed ...... Big Cry ........ Laughing

@ebajema, thanks for the info sir, I might ask Patrick if there's been any changes or if it's doable, thanks.
