As the title, I wouldn't know where to start or what is considered a good price.

Thats a big difference already, did 1 quote last night and it was £125.

+1 for NFU. They insure my horse trailer but for some reason it is on my farm tractor policy. I think my other trailer is also covered by them. You need to have a vehicle insured with them but I have my FF with them anyway. |

Your normal insurance covers the trailer when it is attached to the car iirc, not sure bout contents of trailer, if specialist.

Some insurance companies (but not all) cover the trailer third party only when towing.

most insurance companies will cover the trailer 3rd party for towing, check in your car policy, but also check on limits if any for weight etc
