United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

Blank the EGR off and do the same with its thermostat. The kits are out there for both and did great for mine. Warms up quicker and stays at about 11'clock when I'm using it but I don't have a viscous fan so that helps a lot as well. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

England 2002 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Epsom Green

Having lived with inconsistent coolant temperature problems for nearly 18months with my 2002 vogue td6, last week I finally sorted the problem. Fit a genuine Land Rover main thermostat.....expensive at £83 inc vat but obviously tweaked to suit the RR. I thought I’d save money buying an O.E.item for about £25 off the many listed on eBay! DON’T BOTHER! I have had to do the job twice as the cheaper thermostat only worked correctly in warm weather, come winter, temp gauge needle spent majority of the time near blue zone and virtually no heating. So did away with all egr gubbins and fitted new transmission cooler( inc.built in thermostat) .....NO BETTER! So in desperation I bought a genuine L.R part and hey presto...All is good in the water works department. My bleeding hands are also on the mend cos I prefer to keep the viscous fan!!! Embarassed
