I've noticed people in Oz are starting to call them wing mirrors - a term that was never used here in the past. We never called the metalwork over the front wheel "wings" - they are mudguards down here. Having said that, motoring journalists are now using the US term of "fenders" Gaaahhh! Ron B. VK2OTC

Always called them wing mirrors if mounted on the wings (as in series LR) and door mirrors if mounted on doors . Just seems logical |

Yea....mine are blue and I agree it sort of breaks up the idea of the "floating roof", as the window level always used to be just black....
