I had thought of fitting a D2 wheel carrier onto my roof rack but that would mean lifting the wheel over it and trying to align the studs. Too heavy and too difficult - so I went for the strap.

And the number plates on these appear to be from Western Australia.

Hi P38,

On the 2003 OZ cars (this is mine on the picture you posted), the wheel is mainly held by straps from its center and by the alloy's spokes. The one you see is an extra measure really.

2006 Asia ex-event 322s had proper brackets, as Stu as shown.
